As part of its ongoing modernization and compliance program, Carcassonne Airport is undertaking major works to enhance its infrastructures and standards of safety and quality.
These works include the renewal of the main runway and lighting as well as the extension of the ''Pelicandrome'' area , a key facility against wildfires.
To allow these operations, the airport will be closed from 02 Novembre 2026 to 13 December 2026
Traffic will resume on 14 December 2026 for the whole winter season
